Nestled among the gentle hills of the Charolais Brionnais region, Escale En Charolais Brionnais was a good retreat for my recent city trip. The newly converted farmhouse exudes charm, with its stunning stone walls and cozy ambiance; I felt completely at ease during my three-night stay. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh local bread, buttery croissants, and homemade jams – the perfect fuel for morning adventures! I was fortunate enough to have my partner accompany me on this trip, and we both reveled in the peaceful surroundings. The host, Hervé and Adeline, were attentive, ensuring our comfort while also recommending local restaurants for dinner; we thoroughly enjoyed a meal featuring tender Charollais beef in nearby Oyé. The shared garden and living lounge were perfect for unwinding after a day of cycling through the amazing countryside, as we sipped on tea and admired the sweeping views. If you're looking for a serene getaway that combines comfort with a taste of authentic France, I highly recommend Escale En Charolais Brionnais. The hospitality and tranquility make this little slice of heaven definitely worth the visit!
